To commemorate Autism Awareness Month, the Army Community Service (ACS) Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is offering a workshop on how Law Enforcement supports those with special needs. Joining us is Officer Laurie Reyes, our guest speaker and subject matter expert. Officer Reyes supports Military Families throughout Montgomery County and the surrounding communities through the Special Operations Division. She heads the Autism/ADD and the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Outreach Unit. During this workshop, she will speak about the program, how law enforcement is supporting the autism community, and provide tips for keeping family members safe.
