Babysitting Training for Teens

Learn to provide quality child care as a skilled babysitter.

Know a teenager interested in becoming a babysitter? This course will help teens strengthen their skills and teach them everything they need to know to provide quality child care. Participants will learn:

  • child abuse recognition
  • developmentally appropriate practices
  • the business of babysitting
  • CPR 
  • first aid 

Those who complete this course will be placed on the babysitting referral list.

Class size: Limited to 10 students

Ages: 13 - 18 years

Location: Youth Center (5850 Langfitt Loop, BLDG 1003)
