FEARLESS: Back-to-School Event

Join the Youth Center for the most outrageous back-to-school event! Come prepared to have your mind blown as you experience what the Youth Center has to offer. Get ready to play games, try new things, eat some food, and earn some prizes! Spacing for this event is limited so RSVP today!

Each attendee will receive:

• A Welcome packet
• BINGO card for prizes
•  A raffle ticket, and more!

Eligibility: Have completed the 5th grade, but have not completed the 12th grade.

Session information:

Session 1 (1 - 2:30 p.m.)

Free flow through the center and visit all the stations to conquer a variety of fears! Make sure to mark off each fear you conquer on your BINGO sheet.

Welcome Station: Globophobia (Fear of balloons) - Sign in for the event here and receive your raffle ticket, goodie bag, and more!

Gaming Station: Ludectrophobia (Fear of video games) - Experience a unique gaming experience inside of a gaming truck.

Laser Tag Station: Claustrophobia (Fear of small spaces) - Team up in this outrageous laser tag experience.

Collaboration Station: Agoraphobia (Fear of people) - Work together to complete various games.

Zumba Station: Chorophobia (Fear of dancing) - Bust out your best moves for this fun Zumba class.

Coding Station: Technophobia (Fear of technology) - Code your imagination in this Scratch program.

Artistic Station: Chromophobia (Fear of colors) - Create a pastel flower and add it to our collaborative vase.

Virtual Reality Station: Dementophobia (Fear of losing touch with reality) - Immerse yourself in an alternate reality.

Dig Station: Helminthophobia (Fear of Worms) - Try to collect as many worms as you can using your mouth.

Heights Station: Acrophobia (Fear of Heights) - How fast can you make it to the top of the rock wall?

Session 2 (2:30 - 3 p.m.)

Fearless Station: Phobophobia (Fear of Fear) - Face fear head on and learn how it teaches you about resiliency. Raffle winner will be announced after this session.

Session 3 (3 - 3:30 p.m.)

Eating Station: Cibophobia (Fear of Food) - Take a moment to regenerate some energy buy chowing down on a snack.

Session 4 (2:30 - 4:30 p.m.)

Free flow through the center and visit all the stations to conquer a variety of fears! Make sure to mark off each fear you conquer on your BINGO sheet.

Arcade Station: Arcadephobia (Fear of Arcades) - Play throwback arcade games.

Bending Station: Lgophobia (Fear of Pain) - Test your flexibility in various yoga poses.

Change It Station: Bibliophobia (Fear of Books) - Create an alternate ending for infamous stories.

Creation Station: Entomophobia (Fear of Bugs) - Create various insects out of clay.

Guess Station: Aphenphosmpohbia (Fear of Touch) - Can you guess what is in each box? Stick your hand in and  find out.
